The joys and benefits of sharing books with babies and young children are wide ranging, but for families from minority language backgrounds living in the UK finding the right kinds of books can sometimes be a challenge.
In this interactive session, we will introduce ways to help parents of minority languages make the most of their local libraries. The session is aimed at parents/caregivers and their young children (aged 0-3).
We will talk about the benefits of shared book reading with young children and then together build a multilingual narrative based on a wordless picture book.
Places are limited and can be reserved via the booking link above.
