Expect a whole host of fun and interesting activities at the library, including exhibits from Manchester Museum and creative workshops with artist Emma Martin. If you need advice on what to read, then pop in and see Gorton’s Book Doctors who will prescribe you your new favourite book.
The Fun Day is free to attend, and you can drop in whenever you like – so bring your whole family down to Gorton Library and get involved!
Manchester Museum Comes to You
Manchester Museum is popping up at Gorton library with some objects from the Museum collections. Object handling is an opportunity for people explore real objects up close, spark curiosity and share stories from the Museum collections. Our Volunteer team at the Museum deliver object handling, and volunteering at the Museum is an opportunity for people to develop new skills and expand their knowledge.As well as bringing objects along, there will be museum craft.
