Into the Light: The Pioneers of Black British Ballet exhibition at Stretford Library aims to change this by celebrating the lives of these trailblazers. The exhibition brings together archive photography, film and news items alongside new interviews with the dancers themselves.
This groundbreaking exhibition, funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, is brought to you by Libraries Connected and Oxygen Arts’ Black British Ballet project.
Alongside this exhibition there will be a ballet workshop on 20th June at 1pm – 2.30pm at Urmston Library for all ages. More details will be on Trafford Libraries Eventbrite and website to book a place.
