Writers, poets, playwrights, and screenwriters with a connection to any UNESCO City of Literature are welcome to apply.
The residency will take place in October 2026, with selected writers staying in a private apartment in Jaunpils Rakstnieku pils (Jaunpils Writers’ Castle).
Whilst there, resident writers are invited to engage with the literary and cultural life of Tukums City of Literature and the wider region.
The application deadline is 30 June 2026.
