Join the Portico Kitchen team for a unique afternoon tea experience inspired by great works of literature from Manchester and the wider world.

For our second instalment, we celebrate Rebecca, Daphne du Maurier’s gothic classic of love, loss, deceit and betrayal. Enjoy cakes, sandwiches, preserves, sweet treats and more prepared inhouse by the team behind ‘one of Manchester’s nicest lunches’ (Manchester Evening News) and inspired by the characters, settings and narratives of one of the 20th century’s most famous novels.

Ticket price includes a full afternoon tea service and bottomless Brew Tea Co. loose leaf tea. Please see a sample menu below.

Add a glass of prosecco for £7 or a bottle for £25.

Tickets can be booked individually or in groups. Individual ticket holders may be asked to share a table with other guests.

We can cater for vegetarians as standard – please make us aware of any vegetarian guests at the time of booking.

Please enquire about any other dietary requirements before ordering your tickets. We will accommodate where we can but, due to the nature of these events, this may not be possible.
