On 23rd March, former Manchester City goalkeeper, man of the people and friend to the stars, Alex Williams visits Greenhouse Books in Stockport.

Williams made history as the first black goalkeeper in English football’s 1st division and is well-regarded for his work in the community in Manchester and Stockport.

Come down to Greenhouse books any time between 2 and 3.30pm to meet the man himself as he introduces his new book, You Saw Me Standing Alone, copies of which will be for sale throughout the day and leading up to the event.
