Join us for an evening of poetry and fiction as we welcome back two distinguished Manchester Writing School alumni.

Tina Cole graduated from our MA in Creative Writing in 2023. Her work has appeared in journals and she has won several national poetry awards. Her latest pamphlet is What it Was (Mark Time Books, 2023).

Kate Lord Brown is an internationally published novelist. Her debut novel The Beauty Chorus (Corvus, 2011) was workshopped during her time on the MA and she has just published her seventh novel The Golden Hour (Simon & Schuster, 2025).

They will read alongside a selection of our current MA poetry students. Expect an inspiring evening of conversation, insight and celebration of alumni achievement.
