Quan Zhou, a graphic novelist and author of the successful autobiographical saga Gazpacho agridulce, among other publications, visits the Instituto Cervantes in Manchester to present her work and talk about multiculturalism in her graphic novels.

Quan Zhou (Algeciras, 1989) is an author, illustrator, graphic novelist and popularizer. She studied in Madrid and graduated in England. She published vignettes in the digital version of El País and collaborated in the program Hoy empieza todo on Radio 3. In 2015 she debuted with her first graphic novel, Gazpacho agridulce. Una autobiografía chino-andaluza, in Astiberri. In 2017, he also published in Astiberri its continuation, Andaluchinas por el mundo. Gazpacho agridulce 2, and in 2018 together with Nuria Labari, El gran libro de los niños extraordinarios was released, this time in Silonia publishing house. His latest work is Gente de aquí, gente de allí (Astiberri, 2020). Quan Zhou has also given lectures on racism and identity in Spain, the United States, Sweden, China and Taiwan.
