BookBanks / Manchester Metropolitan University students
On Wednesday 25 March, the School of English at Manchester Metropolitan University will host a fundraising evening for Bookbanks at Seesaw Space in Manchester. Expect live readings and performances, a raffle with prizes and the chance to learn more about Bookbanks’ work.
Bookbanks is a charity that places books in food banks, supporting literacy, wellbeing and community for people experiencing poverty. This fundraiser will support their work as they open a new Salford site.
Come along to help raise awareness of the national reading crisis and support efforts to provide books to people who need them!
Please bring cash if you’d like to take part in the raffle or make a donation on the night.
