A fantastic event for literary lovers, spoken word, poets and performers, taking place via Zoom. Join poet and award winning author Dean Atta, who will be reading and discussing his novel ‘Black Flamingo’ alongside host Adam Lowe who is a writer, educator, publisher and performer.

Black Flamingo is the award-winning debut novel from writer Dean Atta. The book follows the life of mixed-race gay teenager Michael and his discovery of drag culture. In this event, hear Dean read some excerpts from his novel and discuss his works.
