Elizabeth Gaskell's House
Join us at Elizabeth Gaskell’s House this Easter for some creative family fun. We have created two children’s trails so all the family can explore the House this springtime, from the Victorian Morning Room to the Servant’s Hall. With easy and hard levels, our trails are the perfect challenge for all ages.
At the end of the trail, head down to the Servants’ Hall to create your own book to take home. Whilst you’re there, stop by our Tea Room to enjoy a hot chocolate brimming with cream and marshmallows. Dressing-up for all ages can be found throughout the House, getting into character is very much recommended.
All these activities are drop-in and self-led, so there’s no rush to the finish line, take your time and spend all day with us.
