Once a rural fringe, Angel Meadow became one of the most dangerous slums in Europe. 40,000 victims of the Industrial Revolution are buried in mass graves under the pleasant urban park. Angel Meadow is a place stained by time.
To celebrate the launch of Ghost Meadow, a group of local writers involved in the project will read the co-written poem alongside performances of their own writing at Altogether Otherwise on Thursday September 24th 6-8pm.
Copies of Ghost Meadow will be available on the night for donation, as will light refreshments.
Free entry.
