Join David Scott in an exciting discussion to celebrate libraries and his new book ‘Mancunians’.

Mancunians fills in a gap in the history of Manchester little covered in mainstream publishing: Manchester on the brink of the millennium, and is an account of Manchester told through a mixture of memoir and interviews with well-known Mancunians such as Guy Garvey, Tunde Babayola, Sylvia Tella, Badly Drawn Boy and Stan Chow, combined with the unheard voices of the population. We’re thrilled that Dave Haslam will be in conversation with David for this exciting chat.

About David Scott: David Scott is a father, author, poet, musician, and BBC presenter. His work has appeared in The New York Times, The Guardian, and Politiken. He was born, raised, and lives in Manchester.

His memoir ‘Sonic Youth Slept on My Floor’ (2018) was proclaimed Book of the Year by Gilles Peterson. The latest, ‘Adventure Everywhere: ‘Pablo Picasso’s Paris Nightlife‘ is the seventh book in the series.
