Witty and engaging, esteemed British actor Hugh Bonneville is a gifted raconteur whose stories are as captivating as his performances.

Celebrated for his work with the National Theatre, the Royal Shakespeare Company and in the West End, Hugh is widely known for his film and television roles, especially as the Earl of Grantham in Downton Abbey, which earned him Golden Globe and Emmy nominations. His many other credits include Paddington, Twenty Twelve, The Gold and To Olivia.

Hugh will reflect on his work, his passion for storytelling and his journey from stage to screen, as well as his growing success as a children’s author, revealing how discovering that his mother worked for MI6 inspired his series of Rory Sparkes spy adventures.

An entertaining evening of laughter, insight and behind-the-scenes anecdotes as one of Britain’s most beloved actors reflects on a remarkable career.
