This December, Commonword is having a Festive Bash to celebrate a year of open mic nights with Oldham’s creative community.

Get into the festive spirit with our packed programme of entertainment:

– Live Music from rising singer-songwriter Naomi Kalu – there may be a singalong!

– Exclusive Performance from Oldham Writer in Residence Cathy Crabb

– Open Mic – poets and storytellers are welcome to take to the stage and share their work

– Festive Hits DJ set from Geli Berg

– Mince Pies and Hot Vimto for all!

Open mic slots are limited, so please book by emailing ella@cultureword.org.uk. Slots are 3 minutes per performer and are allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis from the stated booking time. If they are already filled, you will be offered a space on the reserve list.
