Be inspired by menswear designer, entrepreneur, Great British Sewing Bee judge, and sustainability champion Patrick Grant as he shares the story behind his bold new book, Less: Stop Buying So Much Rubbish – How Having Fewer, Better Things Can Make Us Happier.
In this must-see talk, Patrick takes on the global crisis of fashion and champions quality, craftsmanship, and rediscovering the joy of living with fewer, better-quality things. He’ll also share insights from his journey through the world of design, his love of textiles and tailoring, and the inspiring story behind his social enterprise, Community Clothing.
With a career in fashion spanning nearly two decades, Patrick Grant is a regular broadcaster on the clothing and textile industries. He holds an honorary Doctorate from Heriot Watt University and is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. In 2016 he launched Community Clothing, a social enterprise which supports thousands of UK jobs through making and selling affordable high-quality clothing.
Praise for Less: ‘Utterly brilliant. We all need to read this book.’ Claudia Winkleman
