Poetry has a magical way of connecting us to each other, and to things which we may not have thought about before, or at least not for a while. It can connect and create new opinions, emotions, and perspectives. In this poetry workshop we will make new connections through reading, hearing, and writing poetry.

Join us for this in-person workshop at Oldham Library & Lifelong Learning Centre, hosted by Oldham Libraries & Comma Press.

Lisa O’Hare’s debut poetry collection Lockdown Life, A Rollercoaster of Emotions was published in May 2021 by Master House Publishing. Her work has been featured on BBC Radio Manchester on several occasions and she has been published in a number of zines, anthologies and online journals. She runs poetry workshops and in summer 2021 she ran workshops at Glastonbury’s Worthy Pastures.
