The exhibition, created by Manchester artist Emma Evans, featuring Spoken Word from some of the best writers from Greater Manchester. Romina Ramos, Louise Machen, Bryan Dunne, Lisa O’ Hare, Thirsty poet AKA Matt Concannon and Oliver James Lomax, all Greater Manchester based poets that have written pieces especially for the exhibition which act as an inspiration for the new work Emma has created.

Emma wanted to create something special celebrating the people, places and vibrancy of the changing face of Manchester through her own colourful and energetic art style.

But Emma wanted to create much more than a traditional art exhibition, she said “After moving here many years ago from Leeds to study I fell in love with Manchester, the creative scene and the strong sense of Community. In creating this exhibition I have captured that sense of belonging by collaborating with other creatives to include music and spoken word”.

Tickets for the night are free but spaces are limited so make sure you book on Eventbrite. The Exhibition runs from 23rd October to 15th January at Wandering Palate Monton Road M309 PN

The exhibition is supported by the MancSpirit Charity, a Manchester based Charity that harnesses Creativity and the Arts to inspire positive mental wellbeing.
