Our special guest for June is Gerry Potter, a poet, playwright, actor, director, and both creator and destroyer of the infamous gingham diva Chloe Poems. National Museums Liverpool lists him amongst their city’s leading LGBTQIA+ icons, and he was profiled in the documentary film My Name is Gerry Potter, which premiered at Homotopia. Gerry’s collection Planet Young was Sophie Willan’s chosen book on the second series of BBC TV’s Between the Covers, and his new collection, Gerry Potter’s Li’l Book o’ small Poems, was published by Flapjack Press in April 2023.

Praise for Gerry Potter:
“Everything poetry should be, and all too often isn’t.” Time Out
“Will amuse, move, inspire and provoke.” Polari Literary Salon
“One of the most radical forces in performance poetry.” Designer Magazine
“Enormous talent.” Gay Times
