Creative Industries Trafford presents this online session as part of the 2021 Northern Lights Writers’ Conference.
Writer Sarah Schofield (Comma Press, Salt Publishing) leads this introductory session to exploring how short stories work and what makes them unique as a genre. This session will discuss specific examples, the basics of crafting short fiction and look at what makes a great short story; how do they work and how do short stories affect us?
The event will also compile a resource toolbox of ideas, starters and stimuli for writing short fiction.
