Join us for a very special book brunch with award-winning poet and author Jo Bell, the UK’s inaugural Canal Laureate for the Canal & River Trust and The Poetry Society from 2013 – 2015.

Jo will be introducing us to her new book, Boater: A Life on England’s Waterways, a lyrical memoir journeying through the past and present of our historic canals.

Blending personal narrative and history, Boater reveals the key moments, cultures and communities that have been built along the canal banks – and reflects on how the waterways have been the lifeblood of our country’s development.

Tickets are £10 and includes a hot or cold soft drink and a selection of croissants, pastries and pancakes with a choice of toppings.
