How do we respond to voices separated from us by distance, voices carried through the particles of time, or voices that echo within us?

Distant Voices is a joint exhibition curated by Jeremy Pak Nelson (Multilingual City Poet – Manchester City Of Literature), Tammy Cheung (Curator of The Poetry Clinic), and Fuse Manchester taking place at Saan1, Manchester. We’re sharing poems, thoughts, and visual artworks that resonate and transport us to another time and place.

These represent a number of artists based across Greater Manchester, as well as Japan, Vietnam, America, and more – including collages, paintings, photography, and illustrations; printed materials featuring poetry or other text; and media such as sculpture and audio/visual work.

Please note: You don’t need a ticket for entry, but you can wish to donate through Eventbrite if you’d like to support Fuse.

Important notes:

— There will be photography occurring throughout this event, although you can of course flag on the day if you do not feel comfortable being in these.

— Selected artworks will be available to purchase on the day.
