The University of Bolton’s English and Creative Writing department are proud to again partner with Bolton Library and Museum Services for a new season of exciting live literature events this Spring 2024.

On Tuesday 12th March we will be treated to a reading from Orla Owen’s new novel, Christ on a Bike. Her writing focuses on the dark and macabre side of family life, the parts that go on behind closed doors. This new book is published by the award-winning indie press Bluemoose Books. Orla will be joined by lecturer Valerie O’Riordan to discuss her work.

Everyone is welcome to join us at Bolton Central Museum Theatre on Tuesday 13th February at 6pm, for what promises to be another fantastic night of Live Literature. Entry is FREE, open to all, with no need to book. Follow us on X (@CWatUB) and Instagram (@writingbolton) for updates and event reminders.
