The University of Bolton’s English and Creative Writing department are proud to again partner with Bolton Library and Museum Services for a new season of exciting live literature events this Spring 2024.

The season concludes on Tuesday 16th April with poets Rachel Mann and Rory Waterman, both published by Manchester poetry press Carcanet. Rachel will read from her collection Eleanor Among the Saints, “a study of the queer joy found in counter-factuals and fantasy”. Rory will launch his fourth volume Come Here to This Gate, which “focuses on caring for an alcoholic father with dementia, and the personal and global conflicts that shape our lives”.

Everyone is welcome to join us at Bolton Central Museum Theatre on Tuesday 16th April at 6pm, for what promises to be another fantastic night of Live Literature. Entry is FREE, open to all, with no need to book. Follow us on X (@CWatUB) and Instagram (@writingbolton) for updates and event reminders.
