Podcasts are popular for a reason: they’re convenient, they’re accessible, and there is seemingly limitless scope for expressing yourself–and finding that niche audience that wants to hear what you have to say! But if you want to make a podcast, where do you start? And perhaps more importantly, how do you keep going? What may not always be obvious is the amount of effort needed to sustain podcasts, from scripting, creating a narrative (even nonfiction can have a narrative), to recording, producing, mixing, and marketing. How do you avoid podfade (which is the slow death of your podcast due to burnout)? How can you podcast in a way that’s sustainable and healthy?
Join Salford University for an exciting workshop to find out how to answer these questions and become a podcasting pro.
