M R James’s collection “Ghost Stories of an Antiquary” was published in 1904. It contains eight supernatural tales, all of which are today acknowledged as classics of the genre.

Over two nights in late October Robert Lloyd Parry will perform all eight, by candlelight, at The Chapeltown Picturehouse, Manchester.
