Kantos Chamber Choir
From the electricity of the derby to the late-night beats of Canal Street, from Turing’s silent genius to Pankhurst’s fearless pursuits. Join us for a mash-up of choral music, electronics and spoken word for an event that gives the city’s story a unique soundtrack.
Kantos Chamber Choir kick off their 10th anniversary year with a performance celebrating the vibrant city they’ve called home for the last decade. The event has been co-curated with Mancunian spoken word artist, ARGH KiD (The New York Times, The Guardian, BBC Radio), and will feature a brand new commission from composer Sarah Keirle-Dos Santos.
The two performances (14:30 and 16:30) will take place at Manchester Craft and Design Centre on the 28th September, with local food and drink available from Fred’s cafe. Tickets are pay what you can.
