Instituto Cervantes Manchester
A space aimed at native and non-native speakers to discover the new styles and narratives of Latin American literature, through established authors and also discover the most promising new writers. Sessions also approach literature through bibliotherapy, assuming that reading and writing have good properties for readers.
This new series -from January to April- will read authors such as Julio Cortázar, Jorge Luis Borges, Samanta Schweblin and Mariana Sández, among others. The seventh session of the series is “Mujeres unidas” where will be read Las lloronas (Algunas familias normales) by Mariana Sández and Mujeres desesperadas (Pájaros en la boca) by Samanta Schweblin.
The session will be in Spanish and by Zoom free software.
