Each year, Melbourne City of Literature invites applications from writers across the global UNESCO Cities of Literature network to apply for a range of residencies, each attached to a specific organisation.
The writers will spend the month of November working with and learning from their chosen organisation, meeting other writers in residence and creating a piece of content inspired by their residency. This could be a workshop, written piece, panel discussion, social media takeover, or a new format of their own creation.
Tania Hershman will be resident with the Society of Women Writers Victoria. During the residency, they will be exploring women’s stories in varying short forms.
