Join cartoonist Marc Jackson (BEANO, THE PHOENIX, and GOOF COMIC) for a crazy-fun, comics and cartoon art workshop!

You’ll learn how to create characters for comics, all the basics to how they can be made, whilst breaking the rules and having fun all at the same time.

Let’s celebrate drawing and having fun, taking away the concerns about getting things ‘right’ or having it ‘perfect’ Marc brings his own brand of lively comics making to Walkden Library. Marc Jackson is a cartoonist from the UK who has created characters and comics for BEANO, THE PHOENIX, Hey Kids Comics, and is the founder of GOOF, a comics anthology for kids of all ages!

Marc also runs ROOM FOR COMICS (a comic art studio in Macclesfield, Cheshire) with his wife Jane that is dedicated to the teaching of comics and cartoon art .They also organise MACC-POW! Macclesfield’s annual comic art festival, celebrating its 11th year this year!
